Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Update – 01/04/2020

It is with great sadness that we have to announce that a number of the events on our calendar have been cancelled. With the ever developing situation, some of our events that are earlier in the year have taken the difficult decision to cancel. But we have been assured that they will be back in 2021! A number of our events have plans to reschedule for later in the year, with the hope that the situation would have improved by then. These date changes are still unconfirmed, but we will update you as and when we can.

Applications for our events are still OPEN, but we will not be interviewing any new members of the team until we are sure an event will be going ahead. Until then, stay safe, keep positive and look out for each other.

Update – 18/03/2020

As all of our thoughts are on the COVID-19 situation, we wanted to share an update on how Ethical Staffing is responding. The safety and health of our staff are always of the utmost importance to us, and we are working flat out with our event partners to ensure we are able to continue to provide them with our services.

It has been heartbreaking to see the range of festivals and live events that have been forced to cancel, however we respect that these decisions have not been taken lightly and are likely to reduce the risk of loss of life, which is of course paramount. At the time of posting this, all of the events that we are scheduled to have staff at are still going ahead. However, the situation is complex and evolving rapidly, so this may change. Because of this, we will not be booking in staff for any more events until we can be sure that the event is taking place. In the unfortunate event that a festival is forced to cancel, we will inform you as soon as we are able to.

Please be assured that the safety and health of our staff is our main priority and we are implementing recommendations and instructions appropriately. We are closely monitoring official guidance from the World Health Organisation, Public Health England, UK Government, local public health authorities and are working with event promoters and organisers.

We will be keeping applications open for our events, and encourage potential new team members to go ahead and apply if they would like to join us this summer, or in the future. We will be putting together a list of applicants who are interested in our shows, so that we can contact you if we are able to book you in for an event.

If you have any questions, or suggestions on how we could help you or our community during this time, please get in touch – we’re here for you. Look out for one another, and be well.
