About: We are looking for team members who are able to act as Car Parking Marshalls and / or Accreditation Staff for a corporate event taking place in Bristol. All positions will include being the first point of contact for event attendees and therefore requires a personable, welcoming and proactive mindset to ensure the very best visitor experience for this event. Please note, these positions will be distributed across various car parking locations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Car Parking Marshall – You will be responsible for directing event attendees who arrive at various car parking locations; ensuring that you give clear information, assistance and support where required. Responsibilities include providing clear directions to designated parking based on need or permit, proactively assisting with marshalling and navigation, distributing event leaflets, and checking parking permits for compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial as the first point of contact, requiring a calm and organised approach during high traffic.
Accreditation Staff – You will be responsible for managing the accreditation process for event attendees. This includes verifying credentials, issuing passes, and providing information. Accreditation staff will also be responsible for addressing attendee inquiries regarding accreditation procedures, maintaining precise records of issued accreditations, and resolving any accreditation-related issues, escalating them when necessary.
In both of these positions, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are crucial along with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude is essential at all times.
Skills and Experience:
- You must have previous customer service, stewarding or similar experience
- Enthusiastic, polite and super confident
- A loud voice will be handy
- A good level of spoken English
- A love of working in the great outdoors!
Candidate requirements:
- You must be a British or Irish resident or have the right to work in the UK
- You must be able to provide at least two references from previous employers
