Rate of pay: £13.57 (£12.10 + £1.47 holiday pay)

About: Old City Sounds is a one day, free, family friendly music event produced by the Bristol City Centre Business Improvement District (BID) in partnership with Bristol City Centre Council. This is the second time that the event has been held in the city to offer some free family friendly entertainment during the bank holiday weekend. The event will take place within St Stephens Avenue and Church, St Nick’s Market, St Nicholas Street and King Street.

Roles and Responsibilities: Stewarding – You will be responsible for assisting in the running of the event for Bristol BID. You will be monitoring audience capacities in each of the locations and liaising with the event team. You will also be a point of contact for the public with general information and help with any enquiries. 

Skills and Experience:

• You must have previous customer service, stewarding or similar experience
• Enthusiastic, polite and super confident
• A loud voice will be handy
• A good level of spoken English
• Highly organised and can remain calm under pressure 

Candidate requirements:

• You must be a UK resident or have the right to work in the UK
• You must be able to provide at least two references from previous employers
