About: Here at Ethical Staffing we’re proud to be offering opportunities for our team to work at The TCS London Marathon Running Show 2023!
https://www.tcslondonmarathon.com/the-event/the-running-show
The UK’s biggest running show returns in 2023, April 19th – 22nd. Taking place at ExCeL London, spanning the four days leading up to the TCS London Marathon race on Sunday 23rd April.
All 50,000 runners taking part in the 2023 race will visit the show as the final step of their registration for the marathon. The show attracts the biggest brands in the running, health and fitness industry alongside an entertaining and informative stage show.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Our team is responsible for helping every runner participating through the registration process.
- It is crucial that each member of our team is friendly, tech literate and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Priority will be given to team members who are available for all 4 days of the show. Some space will be available for just Friday &/or Saturday.
There are a number of roles that you may be asked to engage with:
- Registration: This is the primary role. Working in teams of 2, our team will be positioned at registration booths, and will be registering the runners. This will involve checking ID & registration email, printing off bib number and attaching a chip.
- Meet & Greet: We will have a welcome team at the entrance of the hall. Their role is to direct the runners to the correct desks, and answer any enquiries.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Some of the team may be asked to restock the registration area with the necessary equipment & office supplies
Accuracy and attention to detail is key, as the registration process is crucial to ensuring the runners have no issues during the Marathon. We ask all the team to be flexible in where they are working and in what role, as you may be asked to fulfil all of the above roles during the event.
