Location: Longleat Safari Park, Warminster BA12 7NW

Dates: February 12th – February 18th 2024

Shifts: Approx 1 x 8 hour shift per day (09:30 – 17:30)

Pay: £13.57ph (£12.10 + £1.47 holiday pay) per hour

About: Longleat’s indoor venue, The Longhouse, has had a glistening winter make-over and now offers arts and crafts, live performances and even a pop-up mini skating rink

Roles and Responsibilities: Event Stewards – We’re looking for confident, patient and friendly stewards to act as Event Stewards at Longleat’s Winter Wildlife Week. You will be responsible for ensuring each visitor has an unforgettable experience and assist with queries. The Event Stewarding team plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and smooth operation of the experience. This position involves managing crowds, guiding attendees, addressing safety concerns, and assisting with event logistics. Predominantly, Event Stewards will be responsible for greeting guests, working on crafts, providing an impeccable customer service and operating the opening and closing of doors when Birds of Prey are at flight.

Skills and Experience:
– You must have previous customer service, stewarding or similar experience
– Enthusiastic, polite and super confident
– A good level of spoken English
– A love of working in the great outdoors!

Candidate requirements:

– Priority will be given to candidates who can work the majority of available shifts
– You must be a UK resident or have the right to work in the UK
– You must be able to provide at least two references from previous employers
