Gate Supervisors – Camper Calling

Location: Ragley Hall, Alcester, Warwickshire, B49 5NJ

Dates: Wednesday 26 August – Monday 31 August 2026

Event Type: Multiple Day Event (Camping)

Shifts: 

• 30-50 hours available over event duration 

•  No overnight shifts 

Rate of pay: £17.54 per hour (£15.65 + £1.89 holiday pay)

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Gate Supervisor, you are responsible for the smooth operation of festival entrances and exits. Your role involves coordinating volunteers via our sister company My Cause UK across entry points, ensuring efficient crowd flow, and enforcing security and ticketing protocols.

• Team Coordination:
  • Managing a team of volunteers across the weekend 
  • Assign roles to gate volunteers, ensuring all positions are covered
  • Oversee queue management and implement measures to maintain a smooth flow
  • Monitor performance and provide support where necessary
• Liaison & Problem-Solving:
  • Assist attendees with entry queries, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Resolve issues such as ticket discrepancies, lost passes, or VIP access concerns
• Communication & Reporting:
  • Maintain clear communication with the operational lead 
  • Log any incidents, crowd control issues, or ticketing irregularities
  • Conduct regular check-ins with gate staff and provide end-of-shift reports
• Gate Infrastructure:
  • Ensure gate infrastructure is fit for purpose and any layout changes happen throughout the event

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for team members who have previous experience in:

• Gate Operations 
• Event ticketing and wristbanding 
• Volunteer management 
• Experience in greenfield sites 

Other info:

• Catering provided 
• Camping will be in the staff campsite, you will need to supply your own tent or live in vehicle 

Candidate requirements:

• You must be a UK resident or have the right to work in the UK
• You must be able to provide at least two references from previous employers
