We are looking for an organised and motivated Event Operations Assistant with an eye for detail to work within a busy team on some of the most prestigious events in the country. You’ll be working closely with our Event Operations Manager on an ad hoc basis to help with our busy events schedule. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Creating event packs for the onsite delivery of shows 
  • Booking accommodation or vehicles required for each event
  • Warehouse, inventory and logistics: event packing lists, warehouse inventory, packing event kits and assisting with delivery and collections 
  • Support the creation of a transport and logistics plan to and from site
  • Assisting with shift and rota administration for volunteers and staff, including responding shift scheduling via our systems, and collating event paperwork
  • Overseeing event administration including accreditation, catering and infrastructure requirements  
  • Support with on-site operations as required
  • Assisting the operations department and Directors as required

Working hours

  • We are looking for someone to join us on an ad-hoc basis to assist with the preparation of events, duties are varied and working locations will include our office and warehouse (both in Bristol) and occasionally onsite 
  • Working hours will include weekends and early mornings/evenings  
  • We are looking for someone who can commit to approx 7 days per month with this likely to increase over July and August.
  • Exact working days tbc but likely to be:
    • May – weeks commencing 18th May and 25th May
    • June – weeks commencing 22nd June and 29 June 
    • July – weeks commencing 20th July and 27 July 
    • August – weeks commencing 03 August, 10 August and 17 August 
    • September – weeks commencing 31 August

Skills

You’ll need to have:

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle 
  • Experience working in festivals or events industry, ideally in an operational role
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Computer & tech savvy
  • A working knowledge of Google Suite products: Drive, Sheets, Docs
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads
  • A problem-solving approach to work
  • Excellent attention to detail
