About:
We’re excited to be supporting Sonic Boom Festival as they trial a brand-new cup deposit system, designed to encourage reuse and reduce single-use waste across the event.
Our Sustainability Ambassadors will be right at the heart of the trial, helping festival-goers understand how the new system works and making the process as simple and positive as possible.
It’s a brilliant opportunity to be part of a new sustainability initiative in action, helping Sonic Boom explore more responsible ways of delivering events while creating a great experience for everyone attending.
Pre-approved travel expenses will be covered for this role.
Roles and Responsibilities: Sustainability Ambassador
As a Sustainability Ambassador, your duties may include:
- Encouraging the public to engage with the cup deposit scheme
- Providing information about the programme
- Making sure the correct items are in the recycling bins
Skills and Experience:
- You must have previous sustainability/brand ambassador/festival stewarding experience
- Feel comfortable talking to people confidently
Candidate requirements:
- You must be a UK resident or have the right to work in the UK
- You must be able to provide at least two references from previous employers
