Role:

Internal Traffic Management

Location:

Glastonbury Festival, Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset, BA4 4BY

Dates:

Tuesday 24th June – Monday 30th June

Your first day on site will be for you to arrive (within a designated time), set up and complete mandatory training. You will also complete an event briefing that will set you up for the week ahead.

NB: There is also a longer date range available to apply to here.

Shifts:

All staff members will be required to work a minimum of 4 x 12 hour shifts, with time off to go and enjoy the festival.

To make sure everything runs smoothly across the festival, we’re looking for team members who are fully flexible and open to working either day shifts (8am–8pm), night shifts (8pm–8am), or a mix of both.

Your shifts – each up to 12 hours – will be confirmed before you arrive on site. Please note, there may be occasional changes requested by the festival organisers, so we do need everyone to be adaptable to last-minute updates.

We ask that you only apply if you’re genuinely able to work day shifts, night shifts, or a combination of both. Your commitment to completing all allocated shifts is really important – missing a scheduled shift may result in your contract being cancelled, your deposit withheld, and removal from site.

As a general expectation, you should be available to work each day you’re on-site within your assigned shift pattern. Breaks are included during every shift.

Your Home at Glastonbury: The Ethical Staffing Campsite

As part of the team, you’ll be staying in our Ethical Staffing campsite inside the festival – a dedicated crew space designed to be more than just a place to sleep. It’s your community hub for the week, where you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere and a few creature comforts to help you recharge between shifts.

Our campsite includes:

  • A chill-out area to relax and connect with other team members
  • Access to crew facilities including toilets and showers
  • Electric points for charging your phone and essentials
  • A space that’s safe, supportive, and a place to unwind

You will be fed on the days you work, and food will be available at other times from our onsite caterer.

Whether you’re winding down after a shift or getting ready for a day (or night!) on-site, our crew campsite is your festival base – calm, connected, and just for the Ethical Staffing team.

Can I work with a friend?

We know that working with a friend can make the experience even more fun! We’ll always do our best to assign you to the same area and shift pattern, so you can work (and enjoy your time off) together. Let us know during your interview and make sure your friend has applied at that stage.

Deposit: All staff members are required to pay a £380 deposit in order to be accepted to work at Glastonbury. Your deposit will only be returned to you once you have completed all of your allocated shifts.

Your deposit will be returned to you up to a month following your last shift and will be separate from your pay. You will only be accepted to work once we have received your deposit. If you are a successful applicant we will be requesting your deposit as a part of our onboarding process.

About:

Ethical Staffing, alongside our sister organisation My Cause UK, has been asked to provide the on-site traffic management team for  Glastonbury Festival 2025.

As part of our Internal Traffic Management crew, you’ll be at the heart of festival operations, ensuring vehicles move safely and efficiently through key areas of the site. You’ll need to be confident, switched on, and able to think on your feet, as you’ll be giving clear directions to drivers, festival teams, and production staff in a constantly changing environment.

This is not a passive role – you’ll need to be alert, assertive, and proactive at all times. Whether it’s managing a busy access route, guiding vehicles through high-traffic areas, or keeping everything moving smoothly during peak times, you’ll be a key player in keeping the festival running safely and efficiently.

If you thrive in dynamic environments, stay cool under pressure, and have the confidence to take charge, we want you on our team.

This training session will prepare you specifically for the role and for working at the festival. Further details of this will be made available in your application process.
