Dates: Sunday 28th June – Monday 6th July 2026
Training: You must be available to attend a paid training day at Silverstone on Saturday, 9th May 2026; shift timings: 09.00-17.00. Local accommodation may be available for those travelling unreasonably long journeys to attend the training. Catering will be provided on the training day.
Start Date: Sunday 28th June, you will need to arrive to site before midday to attend your onsite briefing and induction.
End Date: Monday 6th July, 2026

About: The British Grand Prix at Silverstone is one of the UK’s flagship motorsport events and one of the most recognised races on the Formula 1 calendar. Hosted at the iconic Silverstone Circuit, the event attracts huge crowds for a weekend of elite motorsport, entertainment, hospitality, and fan experiences, with 500,000 attendees recorded across the 2025 event weekend.
Arrival & Shifts: You will need arrive on site on June 28th before 12pm. You will have a paid briefing shift on the afternoon of the 28th, and then will have 1 x shift per day up to and including 6th July on either a morning or afternoon pattern.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Silverstone is proud of its 98% customer satisfaction rating, and as Campsite Crew, you will be a customer service ambassador taking responsibility for ensuring a high level of customer care and high-quality standards are maintained throughout the event.
- Guest Services: Act as a friendly, visible point of contact for campers, representing the Silverstone brand with exceptional customer service. Providing campsite and event information and guidance, relaying feedback and complaints to the Campsite Manager.
- Arrivals and Egress: Assist with guest check-ins/check-outs, directing guests onto/off the site, verifying reservations, and distributing site maps and information as required. Allocating pitches and directing guests to their camping area.
- Enforcement of Rules and Regulations: Patrol the campground regularly to ensure compliance with campsite rules (e.g., quiet hours, fire safety regulations, waste disposal). Address minor conflicts or rule infractions diplomatically and professionally. Liaise with the security team.
- Safety and Security: Working with the security team to conduct routine security checks and perimeter patrols. Respond quickly to minor incidents, accidents, or emergencies (e.g., lost persons, basic first aid needs,) and coordinate with emergency services as necessary. Prepared to react in the event of adverse weather, ensuring all safety precautions are put in place should forecast call for high winds or rain. Ensuring guests and staff’s safety.
- Maintenance and Upkeep: Perform maintenance checks to keep the site clean and functional. Report major repair reported to the Campsite Manager.
Skills and Experience:
- You must have previous customer service, stewarding or similar experience
- Enthusiastic, polite and super confident
- A loud voice will be handy
- A good level of spoken English
- Previous campsite management experience is an advantage
Candidate requirements:
- You must be a UK resident or have the right to work in the UK
- You must be able to provide at least two references from previous employers
