About: Boomtown is a spectacle that eclipses reality, pulls in theatre, escapism, community & creativity. This festival giant is a UK favourite for uncovering a world like no other!
Roles and Responsibilities:
Cashless Support Team – This role is predominantly a customer service position, where you are there to ensure ticket holders at Boomtown get the best out of their wristbands. Our team will answer queries and assist with card-only top-ups. Cashless systems at festivals are on the rise and are becoming a crucial part of a festival experience and this role is to help the public with enquiries and the system. Must be available for all the dates.
We have two different roles within this team.
One is at the top up stations throughout the site. This is both a stewarding and customer service role, managing the flow of people using the top up stations and assisting as required. You will need to work independently, engaging proactively with ticket holders within the festival to ensure a fast and efficient service.
The other is on the ‘Banks’ placed at two key locations in the festival. You’ll be part of a team either helping the flow of customers to the Bank or helping them top up and answering queries at the Bank itself.
Most of the team will work across both roles at the event.
Skills and Experience:
- You must have previous customer service, stewarding or similar experience
- Enthusiastic, polite and confident
- A loud voice will be handy
- A good level of spoken English
- A love of working in the great outdoors!
