This one-of-a-kind musical experience pays tribute to the legendary artists and timeless hits that defined a generation – all set alongside the breathtaking atmosphere of thousands of flickering candles.

Featuring a world-class live band and powerhouse vocalists, the show brings to life the golden era of Motown with stunning renditions of classics by Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, Jackson 5, Gladys Knight, Lionel Richie and many more.

You’ll be part of the team helping make this unforgettable event run smoothly, supporting both the bar service and wider events team to ensure guests have a seamless, enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Roles and Responsibilities

As an Event Assistant, you’ll work across bar operations and guest support throughout the evening.

Typical duties include:

  • Assisting with bar setup, service, and restocking
  • Providing warm, professional customer servic
  • Supporting guest check-in, entry, and wayfinding
  • Helping maintain a tidy, organised, and safe event space
  • Liaising with Supervisors and venue staff to ensure smooth flow throughout the event

Skills and Experience

  • Previous customer service, hospitality, or live-event experience preferred
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident under pressure
  • Comfortable interacting with the public and maintaining professionalism
  • Reliable, organised, and adaptable
  • Good spoken English for clear communication with a diverse audience

Candidate Requirements

  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • Able to provide at least two references from previous employment
