We’re looking for confident, engaging team members to join us at this spectacular cinema–music event in Bristol, where live orchestral performances of film favourites meet immersive light-show visuals. You’ll be part of the guest services team, helping ensure a seamless, magical experience for attendees as the scores from Avatar, Inception, Jurassic Park and more burst to life within the stunning surroundings of Bristol Cathedral.

This shift is perfect if you thrive in a creative live-event environment and enjoy being at the heart of an unforgettable audience experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a key member of the ushering and entry team, you’ll be the first point of contact as guests arrive at the Cathedral. Your role is to ensure every attendee is welcomed warmly and guided smoothly to their seat.

Typical duties include:

  • Guest welcoming and ticket checking
  • Assisting guests with seating and entry enquiries
  • Liaising with venue staff to ensure awareness of safety measures during the light show
  • Supporting crowd movement to maintain a calm, enjoyable atmosphere
  • Working alongside your Supervisor and colleagues to deliver a professional guest experience

Skills and Experience

  • Previous customer service, hospitality, or live-event experience preferred
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident under pressure
  • Comfortable interacting with the public and maintaining professionalism
  • Reliable, organised, and adaptable
  • Good spoken English for clear communication with a diverse audience

Candidate Requirements

  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • Able to provide at least two references from previous employment
  • Available on Thursday 6th November 2025
