Location: Longleat Safari Park, Warminster BA12 7NW

Dates: From November 9th 2023 – January 7th 2024

Shifts: Approx 1 x 5 hour shift per day: 3PM – 8PM (plus 1 hour paid travel time) This event operates 7 days a week. We have shift patterns available for both full time and part time work.

Pay: £15ph (£13.38 + £1.62 holiday pay) per hour

About: The Festival of Light at Longleat Safari Park is a festive occasion that attracts thousands of visitors each winter. Packed with awe-inspiring installations and activities, this event is a seasonal highlight for the South West to enjoy.

Roles and Responsibilities: Event Stewards – We’re looking for confident, patient and friendly stewards to act as Event Stewards at Longleat’s Festival of Light. You will be responsible for ensuring each visitor has an unforgettable experience and assist with queries. The Event Stewarding team plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and smooth operation of the experience. This position involves managing crowds, guiding attendees, addressing safety concerns, and assisting with event logistics. The Event Stewards is a frontline representative responsible for creating a positive and memorable experience for all event attendees. Please note that the event is an outdoor, evening event and all roles will be based outdoors in all weather conditions.

Skills and Experience:
– You must have previous customer service, stewarding or similar experience
– Enthusiastic, polite and super confident
– A good level of spoken English
– A love of working in the great outdoors!

Candidate requirements:

– You must be a UK resident or have the right to work in the UK
– You must be able to provide at least two references from previous employers
