Rate of pay: £14.25 per hour (£12.71 + £1.54 holiday pay)

Get ready to bring the vibes to the heart of Bristol! Bristol Old City Sounds is a free, one-day, family-friendly music event produced by Bristol City Centre BID in partnership with Bristol City Council.

Taking over the city centre on Saturday 23rd August, the event brings live music, good vibes, and brilliant community spirit to streets steeped in history – including St Stephens Avenue, St Nicholas Street, and the ever-iconic King Street.

Expect a buzzing atmosphere, local talent, and families enjoying the city in full summer swing. We need your energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism to help make it exceptional!

Roles and Responsibilities

Stewarding – You will be responsible for ensuring each visitor has an unforgettable experience and assist with queries. The stewarding team plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and smooth operation of the experience. This position involves answering questions about the event, guiding attendees, addressing safety concerns, and assisting with event logistics.

Skills and Experience:

• You must have previous customer service, stewarding or similar experience
• Enthusiastic, polite and super confident
• A loud voice will be handy
• A good level of spoken English
• A love of working in the great outdoors!

Candidate requirements:

• You must be a British or Irish resident or have the right to work in the UK
• You must be able to provide at least two references from previous employers
